My name is Matthew Cooper, I started On-Call Services back in 2024 while working as a City Code Compliance and Building Inspector. While on the job, I realized that many home owners could not afford to hire licensed contractors to repair and maintain their home. This left home owners searching in hardware store parking lots just to find decent help. When they finally did find someone, they often times left their projects incomplete or disappeared after completing the work.
This issue particularly hit home, when my own mother struggled to maintain our childhood home after my father passed. Since she was not very technology-savvy, she struggled to find reliable help online. When she did find help, companies often capitalized off her lack of knowledge, turning simple repair jobs into costly financial burdens.
I vowed to create a company that would offer a simple flat-rate system to home repair and maintenance. One that did not require high service charges, upselling, or long-wait times. That’s when I decided to created On-Call Services.
Here at OCS, we charge a flat rate for all home repairs and maintenance services. If you do not have the materials needed, we charge a flat rate sourcing and delivery fee for each trip that our techs make.
